Hannah Blau, U Mass Amherst Grad Student
I earned my B.A. in French Literature from Yale
University in 1980, and my M.S.E. in Computer and Information
Science, concentration in computational linguistics, from the
University of Pennsylvania in 1985. I worked for four years as a
software engineer in the Artificial Intelligence Center of the Bull
Corporation (Louveciennes, France). In 1996 I completed a
nine-month internship in the Machine Learning Group at the
Daimler-Benz Research Centre (Ulm, Germany). From late 1996 to
mid-1999, I worked as a research scientist in the Automated
Reasoning Group at the Honeywell Technology Center (Minneapolis,
Minnesota). In September, 1999, I entered the Ph.D. program in Computer
Science at U Mass Amherst. I am a member of the
iJava project,
directed by
Professor Robert Moll.
