Full-Time Research Scientist Position: Embedded Systems, Embedded Security
The Security and Privacy Research (SPQR) Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for a Research Scientist position in the area of embedded systems or embedded security. Both established researchers and recent PhDs with strong publication records are encouraged to apply. A research scientist will have an opportunity to work with over a dozen faculty and graduate students from both Computer Science and Electrical Computer Engineering on matters relating RFID-scale computation and trustworthy medical devices.
This position is grant-funded for one year with a possibility of extension, and includes a comprehensive benefit package.

Requirements:
PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: embedded security, embedded systems, computer architecture, cryptography.
