Kevin FuAssistant Professor, Computer ScienceComputer system security, secure storage, RFID security, Web security, applied cryptography, and cryptanalysis. Background: Ph.D., Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 2005. Professor Fu joined the Department of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts as an Assistant Professor in 2005. Research: Professor Fu's research interests are in the areas of computer system security, secure storage, RFID security, Web security, applied cryptography, and cryptanalysis. Activities and awards:
Professor Fu served as a program committee member for the Network and
Distributed System Security Symposium, USENIX Security, IEEE Security
and Privacy, the World Wide Web conference, and secure storage workshops.
He received an Intel Foundation PhD Fellowship Award. In 2001 he placed
first in the ACM International Student Research Contest and received the
best paper award from USENIX Security. In 2000, Professor Fu received
