Directions to the University of Massachusetts
The
Amherst campus of the University of Massachusetts is located in western
Massachusetts in a beautiful section of New England known as the Connecticut
River Valley. We are approximately two hours west of Boston and three
hours northeast of New York City.

By car:

By air:

Airport , or from Springfield/Hartford's Bradley
Airport . (If you have a choice, it is much easier to reach campus
from Bradley). Peter

Transporter (413-253-1350) provide bus and shuttle service between
the campus and these airports (although you will find a rental car more
convenient).
By bus:

(800-237-8747) not only links the campus to Bradley and Logan airports,
but also provides service throughout the region.
By train:
AMTRAK (800-872-7245)
serves Springfield and Amherst. The Vermonter serves Amherst once
a day from Washington DC and New York City, through White River Junction,
Vermont.
