Drive Alums and Industrial Affiliates: You are cordially invited to the Computer Science Homecoming on Friday, October 20, 2006. This date coincides with the UMass Amherst Homecoming Weekend of October 20 - 21, 2006.
Some of the other Homecoming events will include a tour of our academic facilities, poster session showcasing the latest research areas of our faculty and students, and a reception to rekindle old friendships with classmates and to network with faculty, graduate students, alums, and industrial partners. this year's event, we will honor Professor Allen Hanson (shown to the
left) and Professor Emeritus Edward Riseman (shown right) during a
luncheon to celebrate their contributions to UMass Amherst Computer
Science and to the field
of computer vision research.
