To err is human. To really screw up you need a computer.

Profanity is the one language all programmers know best.

I am a second year graduate student at UMass Amherst. I'm interested in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. I'm currently working on my Masters project with my adviser Erik Learned-Miller.

If you haven't guessed from the quotes above I find being involved in computer science as a strange form of masochism: general unhappiness and homicidal (or computerocidal) tendencies interwined with pleasure and a sense of accomplishment.

Plans for Fall 2007:

I am taking one course, CmpSci 701: Writing a Masters thesis
I am also TAing CmpSci 121: Introduction to Java
