Bio
Deepak Ganesan is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at UMASS Amherst. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA in 2004 and his bachelors in Computer Science from IIT, Madras in 1998. He received the NSF CAREER Award in 2006 and the IBM Faculty Award in 2008. He was selected as a UMass Junior Faculty Fellow in 2008, and a UMass Lilly Teaching Fellow in 2009. Research
My research interests include systems, networking and data management issues in wireless and sensor networks. I lead the Sensor Networks Research Group and am also part of SUMA, Systems at UMASS. Current research projects include:
