I have graduated with a PhD from the Computer Science Department , University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I worked at the Center for Intelligent Information Retrieval. My advisor was Prof. James Allan.

After graduation, I accepted a Scientist position at Microsoft Live Labs. More recently, I moved to work at Bing.
