I am currently working with Prof. Andrew McCallum at University of Massachusetts - Amherst. My research interests are Information Retrieval, Machine Learning and Information Extraction.

I received a Masters in Computer Science from SUNY - Buffalo where I worked with Matthew Beal and Rohini Srihari. While at UB, I used to organize the UB Machine Learning Journal Club. I did my undergrad in Electrical Engineering from University of Mumbai, India.

I spent the summer of 2007 at Google (Pittsburgh) working on click fraud. Prior to that, I've done internships at IBM T. J. Watson Research Lab - summer 2006 working with Gopal Pingali on analyzing problem tickets and Spring 2007 working with Irina Rish on applying machine learning techniques to topology inference and fault detection in network systems.
