I am currently working with
Prof.
Andrew McCallum at
University of
Massachusetts - Amherst. My research interests are Information Retrieval,
Machine Learning and Information Extraction.
I received a Masters in Computer Science from SUNY - Buffalo where I worked with
Matthew Beal and
Rohini Srihari. While at UB, I
used to organize the
UB
Machine Learning Journal Club. I did my undergrad in Electrical Engineering
from University of Mumbai, India.
I spent the summer of 2007 at Google (Pittsburgh) working on click fraud. Prior
to that, I've done internships at IBM T. J. Watson Research Lab - summer 2006
working with
Gopal Pingali on analyzing problem tickets and Spring 2007 working with
Irina Rish on applying machine learning techniques to topology inference and
fault detection in network systems.
