For my internship with RIACS at NASA’s Ames Research Center, I needed to drive from Amherst, MA to Mountain View, CA. Before departing, I visited my parents in Fords, NJ. My mother and I left from there on May 24, 2003. We spent 11 days driving and arrived in Mountain View on June 3. We then spent 3 days sight-seeing in CA before my mother returned to NJ.
