I am a Ph.D. candidate in the
Autonomous Learning Laboratory working
with Sridhar Mahadevan.
While at UMass, I've been a research assistant on two projects. The first one was the
Wayang Outpost project where we developed
an intelligent tutoring system for SAT-style geometry problems. My role on that project
was to dynamically track the behavior of a student who was interacting with the tutoring system.
The second project
addresses the challenge of automatically constructing basis functions
(proto-value functions) that are useful
for solving Markov decision processes and reinforcement learning problems.
