I am a senior software engineer interested in all aspects of Artificial Intelligence and the art and science of software engineering.

I work in the Center for Intelligent Information Retrieval (CIIR) under Professor James Allan.

I started programming on a TI99/4A which had a 3MHz processor, 16K of RAM, and “saving” a program meant transferring it to an audio cassette.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute then set out to the “real world” where I had a career that spanned all aspects of software development including writing video games for the blind.

Outside of work, I’m a mentor at Valley Venture Mentors where we help encourge entrepreneurship in Western Massachusetts.
