The Story of my name
My full name is Mohammad Salimullah Raunak. Years ago, my name got abbreviated to M. S. Raunak in some official documents. It also became the name in my passport. As a result, I have been using the abbreviated name for all official purposes.
Another interesting thing about my name is that everyone calls me by my last name, Raunak . This is because even though Raunak is my last name, it is not my family name. If there were an official family name, it would be my first name: Mohammad . Amongst friends, colleagues and students, I am known simply as Raunak .
