Email Certificates
 
 
 
 I am a Thawte Notary.  I am currently limiting my email certificate signings  to members of the Five College Community. Students, faculty and staff from Amherst, Hampshire, My. Holyoke, Smith and UMass Amherst may contact me to get their certificates signed.
 
 
As per Thawte rules (see here),
    •    You need a to first get a free Thawte digital ID.
    •    We must meet face-to-face.
    •    You show me two forms of nationally recognized ID, at least one of which must have a photograph, for example:
    •    Passport
    •    Driver’s license
    •    Employer-issued identity cards are generally not acceptable.
 
Please bring a photocopy of your IDs since Thawte requires notaries to retain them for five years.
