 Melton Foundation: [website]

The Melton Foundation was established in 1991 to build a world-wide community of talented people from diverse cultures capable of addressing global issues based on principles of open communication and mutual respect. To accomplish this, the Melton Foundation sponsors a diverse array of ongoing events, activities, and interactions both online and face-to-face in order to deliver cross-cultural training and to build strong social and professional ties among its fellows.
I was selected as a Melton Fellow in 1995, from Zhejinag University. I worked as the tech-fellow during that period of time, maintaining on-campus computers for fellows from ZU group. I attended annual symposiums in China (1995), Chile (1996), United States (1997), and Germany (1998). After I graduated in 1998, I became a Melton Foundation Alumni. Now I belong to MF North America East region (one of MF's 7 world regions) and my regional coordinator is Yashas Hegde .
