 Research Interests:

I am a Ph.D. student co-advised by Prof. Eliot Moss from ALI and Prof. Emery Berger from PLASMA in UMASS Amherst.
My research interests are Memory management, Runtime systems and Operating Systems. In particular, the interactions between virtual memory management system and other components, such as CPU scheduler, Garbage Collection, I/O management, and User-level memory allocator. The goal is to develop operating system resource management algorithms that dynamically adapt to a variety of environments via exchanging information and coordinating with other components, so that the system delivers reliable and predictable performance even when system is heavily loaded, including CPU power, Memory, and I/O bandwidth.
