There is no formal textbook for this course, but you will be required to purchase a reference chart on HTML. This chart is NOT available at the Textbook Annex, but can be ordered directly as a downloadable .PDF file from Spark Charts for $4.95, or may be available off-the-rack as a nice laminated card at local Barnes and Noble stores for around the same price (or it can be ordered on-line here).
Students must be able to download and read material from the Internet, including (but not limited to) .TXT, .RTF, and .PDF files. Students may use either a PC or a Mac for much of the course, but they MUST be able to run Windows software for several of the projects. People who primarily use Macs may use the campus PC labs if they cannot find other means of running Windows software.
