CMPSCI 105
On-Line Forms, Homeworks, and Quizzes

Last Updated Monday, February 13, 2008 at 11:20PM

NO PAPER HOMEWORK SUBMISSIONS ALLOWED!

1. You will probably be able to submit the information in these forms only if you are sending from a server at the University of Massachusetts (your Internet Service Provider ends in umass.edu) If you try submitting a form and get a "Thank You!" message, then the submission WAS SUCCESSFUL! Relax! You don't need to ask if we got it! It worked!

2. To use these forms you MUST have JavaScript enabled. If you do not see any assignments listed below, or if you do not see any images saying "AVAILABLE" or "OFF-LINE" or "n DAYS LATE" then you probably don't have JavaScript enabled.

3. It is the date and time when you hit the SUBMIT button that is recorded by the system for assessing late penalties, not the time you first accessed the page.

4. When you successfully submit any form, please print a copy of the "Thank You!" message returned to you; this is your receipt, and is proof that you submitted the assignment on a particular date and time. Keep your printed receipt in your notebook.

5. When you successfully submit a form, your browser will not remember that it has been submitted. This means that you could come back to the quizzes page some time later and see that an assignment is listed as "n DAYS LATE" when you know perfectly well that it was submitted on time. This is OK. If you know you submitted the form correctly and on time, please do not submit it again late (you'll get points taken off).

6. If you submit the same form more than once, then the last version (the one with the latest date) will be graded, and all earlier submissions will be discarded. (Multiple submissions of the ERRATA form are allowed.) You must be careful not to send in one copy on time, then a second copy late -- it is the late copy (with late penalties) that will be graded!
