Victim Buffer
- Tries to hide effect of transient accesses,
like shadow cache
- Holds recently evicted lines (<= 5)
- When a read misses in cache but hits
in VB, the line is moved back into cache faster than a normal miss
- Effectively increases associativity of
oversubscribed sets
