- Large machines had 1 MHz clock, 32-bit
word, 1 MB RAM
- Cray 1 had 64-bit word, 8 MB RAM, 16-way
interleave, 50 ns memory cycle, 12.5 ns clock (80 MHz), 12 pipelined functional
units
