Statistical Hybrids
- Filter cache -- if a branch has consistent
behavior, tag it for a simple predictor (always taken/not)
- Uses profiling to set threshold
- T-Test predictor computes threshold from
global branch behavior
- Phase detector used for adjusting threshold
