UMass Amherst Computer Science Alumni Meet-up in the Bay Area!
The UMass Amherst School of Computer Science hosted our very first alumni organized meet-up for UMass Amherst CS alums (and current student interns) at Google's Mountain View, CA facility. It was great to see so many of our alums at the event, over 70 attended, which is the highest number we have seen so far at an alumni organized event! Alum and interns chatted with CS faculty who were there (Lori A. Clarke, Professor and Chair, as well as Profs. James Allan, Robbie Moll, and Lee Osterweil).

The UMass Amherst School of Computer Science is immensely delighted to invite you to the first ever alumni meet-up organized in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Catch up on old times and walk down memory lane. Celebrate 50 years of Computer Science at UMass Amherst! Network with your alumni peers, learn about new opportunities, and expand your social network. Prof. Lori Clarke, Chair of the School of Computer Science, will be there, as will Profs. Lee Osterweil, Robbie Moll, and James Allan, so have a chat with them, too!
Mark your calendar! Spread the word around!! The event is free for our CS alumni and a guest, but registration is required so that we can be sure to have enough food and drinks for everyone. Be sure to bring your business card to drop in the jar for our door prizes.

PARKING: There is parking along the south and west sides of building 42, and the parking snakes around behind buildings 41 and 40. There is also a big lot as well on the east side of bldgs 40 and 43. Given the time of the event, parking anywhere is actually fine.
Registration:
Please be sure to register by Sunday, July 20th, so that we can have enough food and drinks for everyone -- and so that you'll have a badge to get into the building. If your spouse/significant other will be joining you, please register him or her as well. While registering, sign up for a CS email address or share your email address so we can contact you for future events.
