Getting Started with Microcontrollers with Luke LaCasse

Luke LaCasse will be leading this free, hands-on workshop at the CICS Makerspace, located in the Lederle Lowrise Room A104. Learn the basics of programming microcontrollers and beginner circuits by working with the popular RP2040 microcontroller. Flash a LED programmatically and discover how to get started with physical computing.

Luke is a hardware engineer in the Manning College of Information and Computer Science, and a recent graduate of the Electrical and Computer Engineering program at UMass, Amherst. He specializes in circuits and embedded systems.

Please bring your own computer. We will provide the microcontroller and electronic components that you get to keep!
